Accelleron Names Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as Service Division President

Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging and fuel injection, announced on August 5, 2026, that Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy will become President of its Service Division and a member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. Based in Baden, Switzerland, Pillay-Ramsamy will succeed Roland Schwarz, who has been appointed CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specializing in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, current CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026.

The appointment comes as Accelleron, which serves the marine and energy industries, continues to strengthen its service operations, a key driver of recurring revenue and customer loyalty. Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron, expressed enthusiasm: “We are very pleased to welcome Ravin to Accelleron. He brings extensive international leadership experience in industrial services, engineering, business development and M&A, combined with deep expertise in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. His proven track record in leading global service organizations will be highly valuable as we continue to strengthen our service business and create value for our customers worldwide.”

Pillay-Ramsamy joins Accelleron from Sulzer, where he served as Division President Services and a member of the Executive Committee. His career includes senior leadership roles in Sulzer's Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific. Earlier, he worked at Turbine Services Ltd. in the United States as Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. He holds a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.

This leadership change is significant for Accelleron, which is positioning itself as a key player in the energy transition. The company's services division is critical for maintaining and optimizing the performance of turbochargers and fuel injection systems, which are essential for reducing emissions in heavy-duty applications. By appointing a leader with deep industrial services experience, Accelleron aims to enhance its service offerings and expand its global footprint.

The company, with over 3,200 employees and serving customers in more than 100 locations across over 50 countries, has a heritage of more than 100 years as a trusted partner in the industry. Accelleron's focus on innovation and sustainability aligns with the growing demand for cleaner energy solutions. The new president will be tasked with driving growth and improving service delivery, ultimately supporting customers in their own sustainability goals.

The transition at OMT, with Roland Schwarz taking over as CEO, also reflects Accelleron's commitment to nurturing internal talent and ensuring continuity in its specialized fuel injection business. Klaus Heim's retirement marks the end of an era, but the company's pipeline of leadership ensures stability and progress.

As Accelleron continues to accelerate sustainability in marine and energy industries, this executive appointment underscores its strategic priorities. The company's media resources, including images and digital assets, are available at https://accelleron.com/media/media-resources.
