The event, which brought together local chefs, supporters, and community members, aimed to raise funds and awareness for the nonprofit's work with Arizona families affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Brown's participation reflects a personal connection to the cause. "We recently lost a friend to ALS, and that loss has stayed with us," he said. The gala featured gourmet bites and live music, with opportunities for attendees to contribute financially to ALS Arizona's care services, education, and equipment support programs.
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 34,000 adults in the U.S. currently live with the disease. ALS Arizona provides comprehensive support to patients and families, including care services, resource connections, and community programs.
Brown, who has over 25 years of experience focusing on personal injury, wrongful death, and estate planning, is also organizing The Alpine Classic Golf Tournament on December 13, 2026, at Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, to benefit ALS Arizona.
