At CEDIA Expo 2026, BZBGEAR is introducing REEVE™, a control system designed to unify the entire smart home under one intuitive interface. The system addresses a common pain point in residential AV: the proliferation of separate remotes, apps, and wall panels that often leave clients frustrated and underusing their investments. REEVE™ organizes control around zones—living areas, private suites, outdoor spaces—rather than devices, allowing integrators to group spaces the way clients live in them. Scenes enable a single tap to configure every device in a zone, from displays and sources to audio and lighting.
Architecturally, REEVE™ eliminates the need for a rack-mounted controller or server PC. The tablet on the wall serves as the controller, reducing hardware costs and installation time. Crucially, the system operates without an internet connection; control, layouts, and scenes reside on the tablet, with the cloud used only for design, updates, and remote oversight. This local-first approach ensures reliability and responsiveness. REEVE™ is compatible with a wide range of third-party gear, including displays from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Sharp, TCL, Hisense, and Panasonic, as well as streaming sources like Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku TV, and Fire TV. It also controls climate systems, professional audio, cameras, lighting, access control, motorized shades, and projection.
The ecosystem comprises three components: REEVE™ Studio for visual design, REEVE™ Player for client interaction, and REEVE™ Cloud for secure remote management. Software is included with compatible BZBGEAR products, with no license or activation fees. The company will demonstrate REEVE™ live at Booth C900, showcasing a working multi-zone system.
BZBGEAR is also presenting its full residential lineup, which addresses key challenges in AV distribution. The XLink-ONE AV-over-IP family runs on standard gigabit networking, avoiding costly 10-gigabit infrastructure. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a volume model with 1GbE transceiver and USB 3.1 for KVM, while the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO targets larger estates with 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 support, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters over Cat5e. Both models have earned industry accolades.
For installations where cable paths are impossible, the AIR4KAST wireless HDMI family offers multiple options. The BG-AIR4KAST provides 4K60 at up to 164 feet with IR pass-through; the BG-AIR4KAST-MKX transmits to up to four receivers; and the BG-AIR4KAST-PRO delivers low latency (16-48ms) with KVM support, making it suitable for interactive applications. The line has won numerous awards across four consecutive show cycles.
BZBGEAR also rounds out its switching and KVM offerings. The company's matrix switchers start at $199 for a 4x2, with the BG-4K-VP44 serving as a 4x4 matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer in one. The 8K-ready switcher line starts at $39, and 8K KVM switches start at $399. KVM extension solutions, such as a USB-C extender that carries video, USB 3.2, gigabit Ethernet, and 100W charging over a single Cat run, address the modern home office.
