Charbone Reaches Major Milestone With Delivery of Its Electrolyzer to the Sorel-Tracy Site

Charbone Corporation (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), a vertically integrated industrial gases company focused on clean ultra-high purity (UHP) hydrogen, announced the delivery of its electrolyzer to its flagship site in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. This milestone is a key component of Phase 1B of the project, bringing the company closer to increasing its clean UHP hydrogen production capacity to meet growing demand from industrial customers.

The electrolyzer, which produces hydrogen through water electrolysis, is the technological core of the next production phase. Its arrival enables Charbone's teams, construction contractors, and technical partners to proceed with positioning, installation, and integration into the site's infrastructure. Civil engineering work and foundation preparation have already been planned to accommodate the main production equipment. Activities will follow the company's execution schedule, including component assembly, mechanical and electrical connections, testing, and commissioning.

This development aligns with Charbone's modular and phased strategy, allowing the company to add production capacity in line with demand while maintaining a disciplined approach. The company's previously communicated timeline for a fall launch remains on track, and further updates will be provided as commissioning and ramp-up progress.

Dave Gagnon, President and CEO of Charbone, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, "This is far more than the delivery of a piece of equipment; it represents the achievement of a pivotal step in realizing our vision and one of the most important milestones in the Company's history. The risks associated with delivery are now behind us." He also highlighted the commitment of employees, partners, and suppliers, and noted that the company is entering a new phase of execution that will strengthen its ability to serve key customers and create sustainable value for shareholders.

Charbone's vertically integrated model focuses on developing a network of supply hubs for UHP strategic industrial gases, serving sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense. The company's modular, decentralized, and demand-driven approach, combined with its integrated storage and distribution platform, supports scalable growth and enhances operational flexibility. This model enables Charbone to efficiently serve mid-tier industrial gas customers with reliable supplies of UHP gases, including hydrogen, helium, and oxygen.

The company is committed to supporting the global transition to a lower-carbon economy by providing accessible, decentralized clean hydrogen and specialty gases, while addressing supply gaps for underserved customers. Charbone is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, OTC Markets, and Frankfurt Stock Exchange. For more information, visit www.charbone.com.
