The corridor, listed on Google as one of the top 10-15 most famous streets in America, aims to galvanize fan support and highlight the team's legacy since its inception in 1996.
The campaign draws a creative parallel between the Ravens' founding and the release of Jay-Z's debut album "Reasonable Doubt" on June 25, 1996, just weeks before the Ravens' first training camp featuring future Hall of Famers Ray Lewis and Jonathan Ogden. Thirty years later, Jay-Z is on a world tour for the album's anniversary, and the Ravens are marking their own milestone with a slogan that echoes the album's title. According to the announcement, there will be "No Purple Doubt" that the Ravens will make a run to Super Bowl LIX (61).
The campaign also addresses recent skepticism surrounding quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was ranked No. 68 on the NFL Top 100 list for the 2026 season after missing four games due to injury in 2025 and missing the playoffs. The release suggests Jackson should use the No. 68 as inspiration, drawing a comparison to fellow University of Louisville alum Wes Unseld, who wore No. 68 for the Baltimore Bullets and won NBA MVP and Rookie of the Year in 1969, later becoming Finals MVP in 1978. Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, is encouraged to channel Unseld's determination to chase an elusive Super Bowl championship.
