Datavault AI Expands DataMEDS Licensing Agreement Into Commercial Healthcare

Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT) announced Tuesday it has expanded its definitive licensing agreement with DataMeds AI Inc. to extend its PharmacyChain blockchain-related technology beyond pharmaceutical distribution into commercial healthcare, healthspan and wellness applications. The expanded relationship is designed to support patient-controlled health data access, monetization and real-world asset tokenization across pharmacy, medical, laboratory and wearable device environments, leveraging a behavioral healthcare patent portfolio focused on medical logistics, IoT population health and AI-driven remote patient monitoring.

Under the amended agreement, Datavault AI will receive common shares representing approximately 19.9% of DataMEDS’ outstanding common stock upon closing of previously announced related transactions, replacing the preferred shares originally contemplated for tax optimization purposes. The companies said the agreement accelerates deployment of Datavault AI’s technology into the healthcare sector, targeting opportunities within the rapidly expanding global health and wellness market while enabling new patient-controlled data transaction models.

This expansion marks a significant step for Datavault AI, which is known for its AI-driven data experiences, valuation and monetization of assets in the Web 3.0 environment. The company’s cloud-based platform provides comprehensive solutions with a collaborative focus in its Acoustic Sciences and Data Sciences divisions. The Data Sciences division leverages the power of Web 3.0 and high-performance computing to provide solutions for experiential data perception, valuation and secure monetization. The Information Data Exchange enables Digital Twins and the licensing of name, image and likeness by securely attaching physical real-world objects to immutable metadata, fostering responsible AI with integrity.

The move into healthcare comes as the global health and wellness market continues to expand, presenting new opportunities for patient-controlled data models. By integrating Datavault AI’s technology, DataMEDS aims to enhance its PharmacyChain platform, which already serves pharmaceutical distribution, and now extends into broader healthcare applications. This includes potential uses in medical records, laboratory data, and wearable device information, all secured through blockchain and AI.
