Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) has announced a partnership with Available Infrastructure to tokenize and monetize Project Qestrel, a nationwide network of cybersecure edge data centers deploying across the United States. The initiative will utilize Datavault AI's Information Data Exchange(R) platform and patented tokenization technology. The companies expect the Project Qestrel token ($QEST) program to represent more than $1 billion in tokenized value upon full deployment, providing access and usage rights across the edge AI infrastructure network while supporting secondary market trading. Initial token offerings are targeted for the third quarter of 2026.
Project Qestrel is expected to deploy 1,000 cybersecure edge data centers across 100 U.S. cities and more than 30 states as part of an approximately $5 billion buildout. Datavault AI said the initiative expands its existing relationship with Available Infrastructure and will generate revenue through an equal-sharing arrangement, with Datavault AI providing tokenization, clearing, valuation and exchange services. The companies believe the program represents the industry's first large-scale tokenization of a live-deploying nationwide edge AI infrastructure network, creating a new digital asset class tied to AI compute capacity.
This move positions Datavault AI at the forefront of integrating blockchain technology with physical AI infrastructure. By tokenizing edge data centers, the company is enabling fractional ownership and liquidity for assets that are traditionally illiquid. The $QEST token will grant holders access and usage rights, potentially democratizing investment in AI infrastructure. The announcement underscores the growing trend of real-world asset tokenization, where physical assets are represented as digital tokens on a blockchain, allowing for easier trading and broader investor participation.
Datavault AI, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, is known for its AI-driven data experiences and asset monetization in the Web 3.0 environment.
