Demanlink Connexion Sdn. Bhd. has deployed two tailored connectivity solutions in Sarawak: the state's first telecommunications smart pole in Siburan and the company's first built-to-suit (B2S) site in Kampung Jepak, Bintulu. Both installations include future-ready 5G equipment and aim to enhance coverage in growing urban areas and along transport routes.
The smart pole, located at Taman Impiana in Siburan, provides 5G connectivity for residents and commuters. Its compact design supports multiple mobile network operators (MNOs) and functions as a lamp pole to improve visibility for drivers and pedestrians. The B2S tower in Kampung Jepak serves residential and commercial areas, as well as a nearby transport network. It is strategically placed near six schools and TVET centres, enabling high-speed access to digital learning platforms. The tower also strengthens mobile coverage along the Pan Borneo Highway, improving connectivity and safety for users.
Hanad Yusuf, CEO of Demanlink, stated, 'Technology is a powerful socioeconomic catalyst.
