TUCSON, Ariz. — Desert Sky Roofing, a veteran-owned roofing company serving Tucson and Southern Arizona, has officially changed its name to DSR Roofing. The rebranding reflects a simplified identity, but the company's leadership emphasizes that the core mission, standards, and crew remain unchanged.
Owner Bill Kimbley, a 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran, founded the company with his son and has overseen the completion of more than 2,500 roofs. 'We simplified the name to better reflect who we've become,' Kimbley said. 'But the heart of it doesn't change. Tucson is home. These are our neighbors.'
The company's primary mission is to protect homeowners from unethical contractors by delivering what it calls 'legendary roofing experiences.' This philosophy is built on five core values: Results, Accountability, Integrity, Serving others, and Excellence. These values guide every interaction, from the initial inspection to the final walkthrough.
DSR Roofing continues to offer a full range of services, including tile, shingle, and flat roof repair and replacement, as well as roof coatings, skylight work, emergency repairs, and inspections. The company holds a BBB A+ rating and certifications from Tamko Pro Gold, TRC Master Applicator, and the Tile Roofing Industry Alliance, along with Arizona ROC licensing.
Kimbley noted that the rebranding does not alter the company's commitment to the community. DSR Roofing returns a share of its profits to local nonprofits, has donated a roof through Military Makeover with Montel, and offers discounts to veterans, senior citizens, and first responders.
'Our name has changed, but our mission hasn't,' Kimbley said. 'I can go home at night and lay my head down and know that I did the very best I could for those who put their trust in me.'
