On June 24, 2026, the Drug-Free World Foundation set up its Mobile Exhibit at a FIFA World Cup watch party at Amelia Mayberry Park in Los Angeles County, reaching an estimated 250 people with drug-prevention education. The event, held during the Czechia vs. Mexico match, was part of the organization's FIFA World Cup campaign, which aims to provide factual information about the dangers of drugs and promote informed, drug-free choices.
The outreach was met with strong interest from community members and public service organizations. A local official praised the availability of drug-prevention materials and suggested providing educational booklets to a nearby teen center. The exhibit also connected with individuals whose personal experiences gave weight to the message. One attendee, who had been sober for 20 years, expressed gratitude and requested to record the exhibit to share with her family, and discussed bringing materials to a local school.
The event organizer was so impressed with the resources that she took the remaining boxes of booklets for community distribution and expressed enthusiasm for future collaboration. Community-service professionals also showed interest: a representative from a social services organization received an information kit and 200 booklets, and another who provides medical care to unhoused individuals requested 200 booklets after noting the frequent effects of drug use she witnesses.
Children at the event also engaged with the exhibit, signing the Drug-Free World pledge board to commit to a drug-free life. By the end, the foundation had distributed approximately 3,000 Truth About Drugs booklets and educational portfolios, and engaged hundreds of attendees.
