Energy Fuels Mid-Year Update: Uranium Production On Track, Rare Earths and Conventional Mining Advancing

Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU) (TSX: EFR), a leading U.S. producer of uranium, rare earth elements and other critical materials, provided a mid-year update on its U.S. uranium segment. The company reported that finished uranium production at its White Mesa Mill in Utah is expected to reach about 1.6 million pounds by June 30, achieving its full-year guidance range in just six months. This milestone underscores Energy Fuels’ position as the top U.S. producer of natural uranium concentrate.

The company said it expects to complete its current uranium ore processing campaign by the end of June before resuming ore processing in Q4 2026. In the interim, Energy Fuels will focus on advancing planned rare earth element (REE) circuit modifications, conventional mine development, and low-cost uranium production across its U.S. assets. These initiatives are part of the company’s broader strategy to supply critical materials for clean energy and national security.

Energy Fuels owns the only fully licensed conventional uranium mill operating in the U.S., the White Mesa Mill in Utah, where it also produces REE products and evaluates medical isotope recovery for emerging cancer therapies. The company is also developing three heavy mineral sands/rare earths projects: the Vara Mada Project in Madagascar, the Bahia Project in Brazil, and the Donald Project in Australia (through a joint venture with Astron Limited).

The mid-year update comes as the U.S. seeks to strengthen domestic supply chains for critical minerals. Energy Fuels’ ability to produce uranium at a rapid pace positions it to support nuclear utilities and reduce reliance on foreign imports. Additionally, the company’s progress in rare earth production and medical isotope development highlights its diversification into high-growth sectors.
