HONG KONG – Fashion Hong Kong’s runway show, themed “Hong Kong Dopamine,” took center stage at the city’s annual fashion event CENTRESTAGE, which kicked off on 2 September. The show featured Spring/Summer 2027 collections from four local labels: 112 mountainyam, ANGUS TSUI, ARTY:ACTIVE, and Z I D I. Each designer drew inspiration from Hong Kong’s streets, architecture, cultural memories, and daily rhythms, translating the city’s unique pulse into a fashion language that explores joy, dark humor, dynamics, and the lightness of defiance.
The event, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), drew industry professionals, celebrities, and fashion enthusiasts, including Kay Tse, Kevin Chu, Tony Wu, Locker Lam, and Jessica Chan. The showcase underscored Hong Kong’s position as a creative hub in Asia, with the designers’ interpretations of “dopamine” reflecting the city’s vibrant energy and its ability to inspire artistic expression.
CENTRESTAGE, now in full swing, runs until 5 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Concurrently, the 45th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the 14th Salon de TIME are taking place at the same venue, offering a comprehensive platform for trade and public engagement. While CENTRESTAGE and Salon de TIME are open to both trade buyers and the general public, the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair is exclusive to trade visitors.
