FingerMotion Acquires 9.9% Stake in Lyken.AI, Paving Way for Enterprise Computing Expansion

FingerMotion Inc. (NASDAQ: FNGR) has announced an agreement to acquire a 9.9% stake in Lyken AI Computing Inc., operating as Lyken.AI, from Alset AI Ventures (TSX.V: GPUS; OTCQB: GPUSF; FSE: 1R60) for $500,000 in FingerMotion common stock. This transaction, subject to TSXV approval on behalf of Alset AI, marks FingerMotion's strategic entry into the enterprise computing market. It represents the first step in a broader strategy to build a recurring-revenue enterprise compute business alongside its existing mobile data and telecommunications operations. No cash consideration is payable at closing, and Alset AI is expected to retain a 90.1% interest in Lyken.

FingerMotion intends to build an enterprise offering encompassing GPU and cloud compute capacity, secure storage, private low-latency networking, and deployment support. This initiative leverages Lyken's previously disclosed ecosystem, which includes partnerships with NVIDIA, Dell Technologies Canada, and established data-center providers. The company plans to pursue enterprise compute as a distinct scalable business and may seek to increase its participation in Lyken and its underlying infrastructure over time, subject to commercial performance, capital availability, and applicable regulatory and exchange requirements.

This acquisition is significant for FingerMotion as it diversifies beyond its core mobile payment and recharge platform solutions in China. By entering the high-growth enterprise computing sector, FingerMotion positions itself to capitalize on the increasing demand for GPU and cloud services, driven by advancements in artificial intelligence and data-intensive applications. The move aligns with the company's vision to create a highly engaged ecosystem of users and expand its technological footprint.

The enterprise computing market is experiencing rapid expansion, with businesses seeking scalable and secure infrastructure to support their digital transformation initiatives. FingerMotion's foray into this space could provide a new revenue stream and enhance its competitive positioning. The company's collaboration with established players like NVIDIA and Dell Technologies Canada underscores its commitment to delivering robust and reliable solutions to enterprise clients.

FingerMotion is an evolving technology company with core competencies in mobile payment and recharge platforms in China. As its user base continues to grow, the company is developing additional value-added technologies to market to its users. The vision is to rapidly grow the user base through organic means and have this growth develop into an ecosystem of users with high engagement rates, strategically positioning the company to onboard larger customer bases. FingerMotion eventually hopes to serve over 1 billion users in the China market and expand its model to other regional markets.

This strategic investment is a calculated move to leverage Lyken's infrastructure and expertise, potentially accelerating FingerMotion's entry into the enterprise sector. The transaction is expected to close pending regulatory approvals, and further developments will be closely watched by investors and industry analysts alike.
