FORTEC Group Strengthens Management Team with Key International Appointments

The FORTEC Group, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, has announced a series of management appointments across its international subsidiaries. These moves are part of a broader reorganization aimed at strengthening the company's second tier of management and devolving greater responsibility to regional operations.

In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak became Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on 1 June 2026. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, and the automotive sector. He will oversee the existing production facility in Dysina and manage the planned move to a new production site, as well as the expansion of operations. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters, and assembles displays with touchscreens.

At the U.S. subsidiary, Paul Hooper took on the role of Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on 1 July 2026. Hooper previously served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he successfully reorganized the sales and marketing strategy. He is expected to replicate that success in the U.S. market, focusing on organic growth and expanding the company's North American presence. He will work alongside co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian.

Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK effective 8 September 2026. With over 25 years in the electronics industry, Evans brings expertise in embedded computing, display technologies, and custom system solutions. His background includes electronic engineering and extensive sales and management experience.

Patrick von Unold will become Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on 1 October 2026. This subsidiary specializes in display technology and embedded computing and plays a key role in the group's research and development. Von Unold has international management experience and expertise in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces, with experience in medical technology, automation, and transport.

Michael Spatny, COO of FORTEC, explained the rationale: "With the personnel decisions we have taken, we are implementing a key part of the FORTEC Group’s new growth strategy. In doing so, we are strengthening the regional divisions and giving them greater scope to respond to the specific characteristics of their respective markets, whilst at the same time benefiting from the strength of an internationally active group."

These appointments reflect FORTEC's commitment to empowering regional leaders and enhancing operational efficiency. By placing experienced managers in key positions, the company aims to drive growth and better serve its global customer base. The new appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and deeper market insights to each region.
