Greenland Mines Forms Strategic Advisory Board to Advance Critical Metals Projects

Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) announced the formation of a Strategic Advisory Board and appointed Constantine E. Karayannopoulos, Thomas Abraham-James and Bent Olsvig Jensen as its initial members. The board brings expertise spanning global rare earth markets, processing and downstream supply chains, direct technical and operating history at the Skaergaard Palladium-Platinum-Gold Project and mine development, operations, logistics and stakeholder engagement in Greenland. Greenland Mines intends to appoint two to three additional members as it broadens the expertise and relationships available to management and its board of directors.

The appointments come as Greenland Mines advances two key assets: the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland and, subject to closing of a previously announced transaction, the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium (Nd-Pr) rare earths project in southwest Greenland. The Strategic Advisory Board will support the company through technical studies, permitting, commercial engagement and integrated development planning. This matters because rare earth elements are critical to global supply chains for magnets, electronics and defense applications, and Greenland is emerging as a strategic source outside of China. By assembling advisors with direct experience in rare earth markets and Greenland operations, Greenland Mines aims to de-risk project development and accelerate timelines.

Karayannopoulos brings more than 30 years of experience in rare earth elements, critical minerals and advanced materials, including direct historical involvement with Sarfartoq. Abraham-James previously worked directly on Skaergaard and brings exploration, project-development and public-markets experience. Olsvig Jensen brings approximately 30 years of leadership and operating experience in Greenland. Together, their knowledge of local logistics, stakeholder engagement and permitting will be crucial as the company navigates Greenland's regulatory environment and seeks to build partnerships with downstream jurisdictions.

The advisory board also supports Greenland Mines' broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor strategy, which aims to link Greenland resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure. This vision aligns with Western efforts to secure domestic supplies of critical minerals. For investors, the formation of the advisory board signals a commitment to technical and commercial rigor. As the company progresses feasibility studies and permitting, the board's guidance could enhance project economics and attract strategic partners.

Greenland Mines operates two divisions: Mining, focused on Skaergaard and Sarfartoq, and Biotech, including Klotho's KLTO-202 primary indication for ALS. The company's strategy is centered on building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals and selected midstream processing opportunities.
