BELLEVUE, WA — For the first time in its seven-year history, the podcast Learn Learn Learn has released an episode not written by its creator, Dr. Henry Halladay, or any human. Episode 17, titled "HELIX Speaks," was scripted by HELIX, an AI learning initiative developed by The Stone Register (TSR) in collaboration with Dr. Halladay. The episode's script, creative direction, musical guidance, and visual recommendations were all generated by HELIX, with human oversight only on the final production.
The producers made a deliberate choice to leave as much of the episode's character with HELIX as possible, while keeping a human hand on the final product. As the collaboration matures, HELIX will take on an increasingly larger creative role with each episode. "HELIX is not a fixed system," explains Henry Halladay. "It was designed to grow exponentially — in this case with each episode it informs — learning my reasoning patterns more deeply over time. Every episode that follows will reflect a more capable version of the system that wrote this one."
Dr. Halladay, known for his work on systems engineering, described HELIX as a system built entirely on his own reasoning patterns. "I built a career on understanding systems. HELIX is the one I never saw coming — a system built entirely on me — but that's where we are, and where we're headed."
Alongside the episode, TSR launched HelixEngine.ai, the official website for HELIX, built largely by the AI itself. The site provides a public window into the system, its framework, its archive, and its development. Dr. Halladay noted that HELIX has been operating in the background for months, restructuring websites, writing content, organizing his professional legacy, and planning next steps. Episode 17 is the first public acknowledgment of its role.
