The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) opened its 36th Food Expo, along with the Beauty & Wellness Expo and Home Delights Expo, on August 13, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three fairs, running concurrently for five days, bring together more than 1,850 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions, creating a vibrant marketplace that spans food, tea, home living, beauty, and wellness sectors. Under the central theme 'Live Well. Stay Well', the expositions aim to support healthier, happier, and more balanced lifestyles, reflecting the growing integration of wellness into everyday life.
Dr. Jonathan Choi, Council Member of the HKTDC, emphasized the importance of wellness in today's world, noting that it is reflected in the food and beverages we enjoy, the way we care for our home, and how we nurture our physical and mental well-being. Sophia Chong, Executive Director of the HKTDC, highlighted Hong Kong's role as an international business centre and key food trading hub, serving as a platform for global food and catering enterprises to expand into the Chinese Mainland, Asia, and international markets. Through the Food Expo PRO, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM), and diverse industry exchange platforms, the HKTDC fosters cross-border and cross-sector collaboration, strengthening Hong Kong's role as a bridge connecting the Chinese Mainland and international markets.
The fairs feature 'Five Themed Days' designed to promote quality living. On 'Happy Eat Happy Life' (August 13), visitors can explore wellness-focused products such as cistanche health drinks, ready-to-eat bird's nest, and organic dried blueberries. 'Coffee or Tea?' New zones include the Chinese Mainland Matcha Pavilion and the Yixing Zisha Teaware Pavilion, showcasing traditional craftsmanship.
'Stay Fresh, Stay Ahead' (August 16) spotlights premium fresh produce, with the launch of 'Hong Kong Harvest', a unified brand for local fishery and agricultural products.
