Katjes International, a European brand holding company, reported a significant 55% increase in group revenue for the first half of 2026, reaching EUR 256.0 million, up from EUR 164.8 million in the previous year. The company's EBITDA also rose by 14% to EUR 15.8 million, reflecting the positive impact of recent strategic acquisitions. This growth underscores the effectiveness of Katjes International's expansion strategy in the consumer goods sector.
The acquisition of Nature Delivered Ltd., known as Graze, from Unilever in February 2026 was a pivotal move. Graze is one of the UK's most recognized healthy snacking brands, and the deal includes its London-based production facility with about 180 employees. This acquisition not only adds a strong brand to the portfolio but also expands the company's operational footprint in the UK.
In addition to Graze, Katjes International has been actively diversifying its portfolio through its Katjes Quiet Luxury segment. After acquiring a majority stake in the Bogner Group in September 2025, the company took a 27% interest in the Italian luxury brand Missoni in May 2026. This investment aligns with the company's strategy of acquiring globally recognized brands that exemplify quality and unique identity.
The revenue growth and improved earnings were primarily driven by the consolidation of Bogner companies, which have been part of the group since September 2025, and the first-time consolidation of Graze from February 2026. However, the company notes that Bogner, like many of its existing portfolio companies, traditionally generates a significant portion of its business in the second half of the year. Consequently, Katjes International expects a substantial increase in earnings over the remainder of 2026.
Financially, the company remains robust. As of June 30, 2026, group equity stood at approximately EUR 255.1 million, translating to an equity ratio of about 30%. Despite completing several acquisitions, Katjes International maintained a comfortable liquidity position of EUR 74.1 million. This solid financial foundation supports the company's continued growth ambitions.
Katjes International has confirmed its full-year guidance, projecting at least EUR 650 million in group revenue and an EBITDA margin between 10% and 12%. The company's confidence is backed by its strategic acquisitions and the anticipated seasonal strength of its portfolio in the latter half of the year.
