Kaufman & Company Unifies Real Estate and Tech Ventures Under Single Integrated Platform

Kaufman & Company, the permanent capital holding company founded and led by Daniel Kaufman, has officially launched its full platform with the debut of its new website, thekaufmanco.com. The launch culminates a year-long effort to consolidate ten operating companies, a seven-company venture portfolio through Kaufman Ventures, and a network of affiliated partnerships into a single cohesive structure spanning residential development, workforce housing, AI infrastructure, and venture capital.

“Our 2026 launch slate marks the full convergence of real estate and technology,” said Daniel Kaufman. “We’ve spent the last year bringing every company we’ve built or backed under one platform so they can share capital, data, and execution discipline instead of operating in silos. This is the structure the work has been building toward.”

The new platform integrates diverse operating businesses, including Convivium Living, DanReDev, DEK Builds, Design Build Affordable, DK Homes, Forge Development Partners, Kaufman Development, Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting, LoneStar Kaufman, and Kaufman Ventures. These entities collectively report more than $2 billion in project value delivered, over 10,000 housing units developed, and more than 25 years of combined experience.

A key component of the launch is the formal introduction of Kaufman Ventures, the venture capital arm with a portfolio of seven technology companies designed to serve the real estate industry. These include BridgeStar, an AI-powered partner portal; Meridian for portfolio intelligence; LandBriefing for land intelligence; SpreadSight for data analytics; FoundCheck for diligence; and ServerDomes for AI data center development. The strategy emphasizes building tools that Kaufman’s own operating companies use first, then offering them to the broader market.

The unification effort involved integrating financial reporting, shared services, and go-to-market strategies while preserving each company’s operational identity. The new public-facing partner portal at BridgeStar.ai provides borrowers, investors, and partners direct access to deal information across the platform. Additionally, the website introduces Media & Press and U.S. Real Estate Journal sections to showcase the company’s growing industry footprint.

“Every company on this platform still runs the way it always has, with its own team and its own market focus,” Kaufman added. “What changes is that we can now move capital, share underwriting discipline, and put technology like BridgeStar and Meridian to work across all of them at once. That is what this launch represents.”

This strategic consolidation is significant as it enables Kaufman & Company to leverage synergies across real estate and tech, potentially setting a precedent for how holding companies can integrate operations to drive efficiency and innovation. The platform’s emphasis on in-house technology development could also reshape how real estate firms approach digital transformation.
