LaFleur Minerals Expands Abitibi Land Position and Prepares Beacon Mill Restart

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) has announced an expansion of its project holdings in the prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Québec. The company has acquired 27 mineral claims totaling approximately 701 hectares adjacent to its McKenzie East Project. This acquisition increases LaFleur's overall land position in the Abitibi to more than 23,100 hectares across 490 claims. Notably, the new claims include ground containing a historical Maruska gold showing, which the company plans to explore through data compilation, drilling, and other exploration activities.

The strategic expansion aligns with LaFleur's broader district-scale strategy in a region known for its strong infrastructure and access to mining resources. By consolidating a larger land package along a major structural break, the company aims to unlock additional value from its existing projects and new prospects. The Maruska showing adds to the company's portfolio of exploration targets, which already includes several prospects rich in gold and critical metals previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining.

In parallel with its land acquisition, LaFleur is making significant progress on its 100%-owned Beacon Gold Mill. The company is refurbishing the mill and expects to restart operations in the coming months. Initially, the mill will process existing stockpiles and potentially material from its Swanson Gold Project. The Beacon Mill is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day, and its restart is a key component of LaFleur's strategy to become a mid-tier gold producer. The mill's location provides direct access to several nearby gold mines, enhancing its potential for custom milling operations for other projects in the region.

The company recently released the results of a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Swanson Gold Project, which is approximately 19,214 hectares in size and includes the Swanson, Bartec, and Jolin gold deposits. The PEA outlines a robust project with significant production potential, and the planned mill restart is integral to the project's development. The combination of expanded land holdings, ongoing exploration, and mill operations positions LaFleur to capitalize on the region's mining potential.

LaFleur Minerals is focused on the development of district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d'Or, Québec. The company's mission is to advance mining projects with a focus on its PEA-stage Swanson Gold Project and the Beacon Gold Mill, which have significant potential to deliver long-term value. With the recent expansion and mill refurbishment, LaFleur is taking steps to become a significant player in the Canadian gold mining sector.
