The 9th annual LATINAFest, the nation's largest outdoor festival celebrating Latinas, will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Jesse Brewer Park in Exposition Park, Los Angeles. The event, themed 'UNSTOPPABLE,' underscores the rapid growth and economic influence of Latinas in the United States. According to organizers, the Latina population grew by 5.6 million from 2010 to 2022, the largest increase of any female demographic group, and now represents over 22.2 million women, or 17% of all adult women in the U.S.
Co-founder Bel Hernandez Castillo emphasized that marketing to Latinas is a sound business strategy, not merely a diversity initiative. 'Latinas are not a trend—we are the future of growth,' she said. The festival will feature over 100 exhibitors and vendors showcasing Latina-owned businesses, which are starting at faster rates than any other demographic, according to Forbes.
The 2026 lineup includes keynote speaker Loriann Serna, celebrity event planner and founder of Wife of the Party, who has worked with Hollywood elites and major brands. An opening ceremony by choreographer Stephanie Stevens, recently featured in Bad Bunny's halftime show, will involve youth soccer teams. Author panels include award-winning novelist Reyna Grande discussing her latest work Migrant Heart, and Julissa Arce, author of My (Underground) American Dream. A panel titled 'Breaking the Silence' will address untold stories within the community.
Other attractions include live selling experiences powered by Viva Shop, morning Mayan yoga and wellness programming with sound baths and 'limpia' rituals, art installations, musical performances, tequila and mezcal tastings in a cocktail garden, salsa dance lessons, and family-friendly cultural activities. The festival anticipates growth from its 2025 attendance of over 4,000 guests.
LATINAFest is supported by sponsors including Angel City FC, Square, AARP, El Clasificado, LATINATION, Hispanic Coalition of Small Businesses, NAFTA Distributors, Empowered With Gina, Rancho La Gloria, Amigas on Tour, Sazon Grip, and Melrose Bouquets. Community partners include NLBWA-LA.
Lead-up events include Taste of LATINAFest on May 16, 2026, in partnership with METRO, celebrating the D Line station opening at Wilshire Blvd. & Fairfax. The LATINAFest 5K Fun Run, sponsored by Angel City, will take place on May 30, 2026, promoting wellness.
Sponsorship opportunities remain available for brands seeking to connect with this influential consumer group. The festival positions itself as a powerful prelude to Los Angeles' global moment during FIFA events the following week, highlighting the city's Latina culture and economic power.
