LAURION's High-Grade Gold and Polymetallic Intercepts Signal Potential for Maiden Resource at Ishkoday

LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: LME | OTC: LMEFF | FSE: 5YD) has reported assay results from drill holes LBX26-106 and LBX26-107, part of its ongoing 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the 100%-owned Ishkoday Gold and Polymetallic Project in Northwestern Ontario. The results include multiple high-grade gold, silver, copper, and zinc intercepts, highlighting the potential of the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems.

Drill hole LBX26-106 returned 3.75 meters grading 0.568 g/t gold, 12.40 g/t silver, 0.46% copper, and 1.75% zinc from 278.75 m to 282.50 m, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 2.30 meters grading 0.886 g/t gold, 19.26 g/t silver, 0.73% copper, and 1.64% zinc, and a 0.50-meter interval grading 1.730 g/t gold, 43.20 g/t silver, 1.51% copper, and 3.40% zinc. The hole also intersected 4.70 meters grading 0.582 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, 0.07% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 172.50 m to 176.50 m, including 0.50 meters grading 3.220 g/t gold, 9.70 g/t silver, 0.30% copper, and 6.29% zinc. Drill hole LBX26-107 returned 1.15 meters grading 1.374 g/t gold, 10.10 g/t silver, 0.49% copper, and 2.01% zinc from 239.80 m to 240.95 m, including 0.50 meters grading 1.170 g/t gold, 20.10 g/t silver, 1.03% copper, and 3.64% zinc, and 2.90 meters grading 0.608 g/t gold, 11.93 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 351.40 m to 354.30 m, including 0.80 meters grading 1.975 g/t gold, 39.50 g/t silver, 1.45% copper, and 2.72% zinc.

These intercepts are significant because they demonstrate the presence of high-grade polymetallic mineralization at depth and along strike, which could enhance the economic viability of the Ishkoday Project. The company is systematically advancing the A-Zone with the goal of supporting a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The 2026 Phase 1 drill program was designed to test the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems at depth and along strike, tighten drill spacing, and evaluate priority geophysical targets. The drilling is providing additional information regarding the geometry and potential extent of mineralization, and is being evaluated to assess continuity within the mineralized system.

LAURION has increased its planned Phase 1 drilling from 3,865 metres to 5,605 metres across 22 drill holes, informed by SRK Consulting's independent structural gap analysis of the A-Zone, which identified five priority target areas where additional drilling may address key gaps in the existing drill database. This expansion underscores the company's confidence in the project's potential and its commitment to data-driven exploration. The results also highlight the polymetallic nature of the deposit, with significant copper and zinc grades alongside gold and silver, which could improve project economics through diversified revenue streams.

The technical contents of this press release have been reviewed and approved by Dr. Trevor Boyd, Ph.D., P.Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. LAURION employs industry-standard QA/QC protocols, including the use of external standards, blanks, and duplicates, and all QA/QC results were verified with no contamination or bias observed. The company's shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (LME), OTCQB (LMEFF), and Frankfurt Stock Exchange (5YD). For more information, visit the company's website at http://www.LAURION.ca.

These results matter because they provide further evidence of a large and evolving gold-rich base metal mineral system at Ishkoday, which covers approximately 57 km² within the prolific Beardmore-Geraldton and Onaman-Tashota Greenstone Belts. With over 98,000 metres of historical and modern drilling, the project hosts a single 6.0 km by 2.5 km mineralized corridor. The ongoing success of the drilling program could position LAURION for a maiden MRE, which would be a critical milestone in advancing the project toward development. Additionally, the high-grade intercepts could attract further investment and strategic partnerships, enhancing the company's ability to fund future exploration and development activities. As the company continues to strengthen geological confidence and expand the scale of the mineral system, the Ishkoday Project's potential to become a significant polymetallic mining operation in Northern Ontario becomes increasingly apparent.
