Loughlin Law, P.A., a Boca Raton-based firm, has announced that attorney Curtis Davis, Esq. has joined as Of Counsel. Davis brings extensive experience in personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and business and insurance disputes, along with a background that provides valuable insight into both sides of civil litigation. His addition is set to strengthen the firm’s personal injury capabilities for clients throughout Florida.
Before representing injured individuals and families, Davis began his legal career as a defense attorney representing insurance companies and their insureds in matters involving catastrophic multi-car accidents, wrongful death, product liability, and negligent security. That experience gave him an inside understanding of how insurance companies evaluate, defend, and approach claims—a perspective he now brings to his work advocating for clients. This dual vantage point is particularly significant in personal injury litigation, where understanding the opposition’s strategies can be crucial to securing favorable outcomes.
Davis also brings significant courtroom and trial experience to Loughlin Law. In 2022, he founded Davis Trial Law, a boutique Florida law firm focused on personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and business and insurance disputes. His practice has emphasized individualized attention and dedicated representation for clients navigating complex legal matters. His trial skills have been recognized through his selection for membership in the Order of Barristers, an honor reserved for those demonstrating excellence in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Davis earned his Bachelor of Science while studying Economics at the Warrington College of Business, with minors in History and Leadership. He later earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he served on the executive board of Moot Court. Davis has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2012 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. His professional involvement includes leadership roles with the Stephen R. Booher Inn of Court and Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court, as well as membership in the Florida Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and Broward County Bar Association.
