Medios AG, a leading specialty pharma provider in Europe, has announced the appointment of Katrin Neuffer as Director Investor Relations & Communications, effective immediately. Neuffer, who brings nearly two decades of capital markets expertise, will oversee communications with investors, analysts, and the public, succeeding Claudia Nickolaus.
Neuffer's career includes leadership roles at Wacker Neuson SE, where she guided the company from its IPO to becoming a consistently attractive investment, and at Exyte Group, where she prepared an IPO targeting a market capitalization of over EUR 2 billion. Since 2020, she has advised listed companies on investor relations and crisis communications. Her appointment comes as Medios aims to reposition itself in the capital markets and intensify engagement with the financial community.
Thomas Meier, CEO of Medios AG, expressed confidence in Neuffer's ability to drive this strategic focus. “With Katrin Neuffer, we are gaining a proven capital markets expert who has guided publicly listed companies through decisive phases of development, from IPOs to strategic repositioning,” he said. Meier also thanked Claudia Nickolaus for her significant contributions in building Medios' investor relations, including the company's first Capital Markets Day in 2022.
The leadership change occurs at a pivotal time for Medios, with several key events scheduled for the 2026 financial year. On August 12, the company will release its half-year financial report, followed by participation in the Berenberg and Goldman Sachs German Corporate Conference from September 21 to 23. Medios will also host its Capital Markets Day on September 28 and 29, and will publish its quarterly statement on November 10.
Medios is Germany's first listed specialty pharmaceutical company, operating in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain. The company focuses on individualized medicine, working with pharmacies, specialists, and pharmaceutical companies to make innovative therapies accessible. Its shares are listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's Prime Standard and included in the SDAX index.
Neuffer's appointment signals Medios' commitment to strengthening its capital markets presence and fostering transparent communication with stakeholders. Her extensive experience in IPO preparation and strategic repositioning will be invaluable as the company navigates its next phase of growth.
