PAR LED Lights has expanded its commercial LED retrofit portfolio with the HyLite LED Lotus Lamp LS-1830, a PAR38 LED lamp that consolidates 45 lighting configurations into a single product. The announcement, made on September 10, 2026, signals a shift in how businesses can manage lighting upgrades: instead of stocking multiple lamps for different wattages, color temperatures, and beam angles, facility managers can now rely on one SKU that adapts to diverse settings. This flexibility could reduce inventory costs, simplify specification, and accelerate retrofit projects.
The LS-1830 offers selectable 18W, 25W, and 30W operation, delivering between 1,980 and 3,300 lumens. It provides five color temperatures—2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K—and three beam angles (25°, 40°, and 60°). With a color rendering index above 90, the lamp ensures accurate color appearance, which is critical for retail merchandising, art galleries, and hospitality environments where visual presentation drives customer experience.
For commercial spaces with varying lighting needs, the lamp’s adjustability eliminates the guesswork of selecting a fixed configuration. Retail stores can use a tight 25° beam to highlight merchandise, while restaurants and offices can opt for wider 40° or 60° coverage. The ability to switch between warm ambient light and daylight-style illumination in the same fixture means a single lamp can serve multiple purposes throughout a building’s lifecycle.
Designed as a direct replacement for existing PAR38 applications, the LS-1830 uses a standard E26 medium screw base and operates on 100–277VAC universal input voltage. It is suitable for track lighting, recessed downlights, and other directional fixtures after proper ballast bypass. The lamp also supports horizontal or vertical socket orientations and can be used in enclosed fixtures where thermal requirements are met.
Energy savings are a key selling point. At up to 110 lumens per watt, the LS-1830 replaces 180W–300W halogen lamps and can cut energy use by up to 90% in qualifying applications. With a rated life of 50,000 to 60,000 hours and a five-year warranty, it reduces relamping frequency in hard-to-reach areas such as high ceilings and recessed cans. Additional features include IP54 protection, 4kV surge protection, intelligent temperature control, and a proprietary heat-sink design. The lamp is also 98% recyclable and contains no lead or mercury.
For lighting professionals, the LS-1830’s inventory simplification is perhaps its most significant advantage. By combining three wattages, five color temperatures, and three beam angles, one product can be configured 45 different ways, reducing the need to stock multiple SKUs.
