City Pass, Inc. has announced significant upgrades to the New York CityPASS® program, introducing a fully flexible ticket format, two new attractions, and a price reduction. The changes, effective September 10, 2026, are designed to give travelers greater control and savings while exploring New York City's premier sights.
Under the new system, travelers can choose any five attractions from a curated list of ten, rather than being locked into a predetermined set. The lineup now includes Edge Observation Deck & Immersive Experience and the Whitney Museum of American Art, joining longstanding favorites like the Empire State Building Observation Deck, American Museum of Natural History, Top of the Rock® Observation Deck, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Statue of Liberty Grounds and Ellis Island Official Ferry, Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, Intrepid Museum, and Guggenheim Museum. This flexibility allows visitors to tailor their itinerary to their interests, whether they prefer panoramic views, world-class art, or iconic landmarks.
Alongside the added flexibility, the ticket price has been lowered. Adult pricing drops from $164 to $149, while child pricing decreases from $136 to $129. Advertised savings now reach as much as 51% off combined admission prices, making it more affordable for families and budget-conscious travelers to experience multiple top attractions.

The addition of Edge Observation Deck & Immersive Experience brings a cutting-edge attraction to the program. Located at Hudson Yards, Edge is the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, suspended over 1,100 feet above Manhattan. It features a glass floor, angled glass walls, and 360-degree views. A recent indoor transformation has turned it into a multi-sensory experience with permanent installations like NYC's largest kaleidoscope, the Pulse infinity room with 450 glowing orbs, and the Crystal Cave. The Whitney Museum of American Art adds a cultural cornerstone.
