Noble Minerals Gears Up for 2,500-3,000m Drill Program at Lucas Gold Project with $215,000 Ontario Grant

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:NOB, FRANKFURT: NB7, OTCQB:NLPXF) has announced an update on its Lucas Gold Project, located approximately 30 km north of Timmins, Ontario, a region famous for over 75 million ounces of gold production. The company is preparing for a drill program expected to total about 2,500 to 3,000 meters. This news matters because it signals a renewed push to unlock the potential of a drill-ready gold asset in a tier-one mining jurisdiction, supported by a $215,000 Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP) grant. The program will require the establishment of a winter road for access, which needs time to build a stable, deep frozen base for heavy equipment. This logistical step underscores the remote nature of the project, but also highlights the commitment to advancing exploration despite infrastructure challenges.

The Lucas Gold Project is strategically positioned near world-class infrastructure. It lies 20 km northeast of the Kidd Creek Mine, which is celebrating its 58th year of continuous production with over 150 million tonnes of ore, and about 20 km east of the Crawford Nickel Resource currently being developed by Canada Nickel. Full industry services, supplies, and infrastructure are available in Timmins, with access via paved Highway 655, and there is ample access to power and water. Noble also has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with local First Nations, a critical social license component that facilitates exploration activities. The project’s location and existing agreements reduce operational risk and enhance its appeal to investors.

Historical work on the Lucas property has already identified a 1,700-meter gold mineralized structure/trend. In 2018, Noble completed 15 NQ size diamond drill holes totaling 3,184 meters covering approximately 650 meters of strike length. The company located 37 historical drill-hole collars and twinned three of them. However, no further work has been done since 2018. The current project holds six discrete untested induced polarization (IP) anomalous trends that require follow-up exploration, of which only one has been investigated by diamond drilling. Gold mineralization is interpreted to be structurally controlled, occurring as discrete lenses stacked within a pyrite-plus-gold mineralized tuffaceous unit. For a detailed view of the 2018 drilling plan and mineralized zone, see Figure 3: 2018 Drilling Plan with Outline of Mineralized Zone Projected to Surface. The untested IP anomalies represent significant blue-sky potential; successful drilling could expand the known mineralized footprint and lead to a resource estimate.

The development of the Lucas Gold Project is divided into three phases. Phase 1 aims to establish gold grade and extend the gold mineralized strike length to approximately 1,700 meters. Phase 2 will establish and verify gold mineralization in additional parallel IP anomalies. Phase 3 involves geological modeling and NI43-101 resource definition. The upcoming drill program is expected to focus on IP Anomaly A to further define gold mineralization, as well as test the other five undrilled IP anomalies for similar mineralization. This systematic approach demonstrates a clear pathway from exploration to potential resource delineation. The technical content of the release has been reviewed and approved by Wayne Holmstead, P.Geo., an independent Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. For a visual representation of the IP zones and 2018 drilling collars, refer to Figure 4: Plan of Induced Polarization Zones Projected to Surface with Collars of 2018 Drilling and Magnetic Background.
