Renaissance BioScience Corp., a global leader in yeast bioengineering, has appointed Dr. James Tansey to its Board of Directors. Dr. Tansey, a serial entrepreneur, research academic, and business leader, brings extensive experience in life sciences, technology commercialization, fundraising, and corporate governance.
Dr. Tansey is a professor at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and previously served on the faculty at Oxford University's Saïd Business School. He is a founding team member at Gemina Labs, where he supports fundraising, business development, and shareholder strategy. He also serves on the boards of dynaCERT Inc. and Vanadium Resources Ltd. and is a Senior Advisor to InBC, British Columbia's $500 million strategic investment fund.
