Charpiot, a long-time executive at the company, will succeed Christoph Gunter, who is departing for a leadership role outside the group. Christoph Gunter, who served as President EMEA for nearly seven years, played a pivotal role in shaping the region's development. As a member of the executive team, he oversaw the company’s largest regional business and was instrumental in integrating Haldex within EMEA, as well as identifying new growth prospects in strategically important markets. Alexandre Charpiot brings extensive experience from his tenure at SAF-HOLLAND since 2009. He has held various leadership roles across original equipment and aftermarket businesses, managing areas such as logistics, purchasing, and product management. Since 2022, as Vice President Sales OEM EMEA, he has led sales for the original equipment segment, overseen European subsidiaries, and contributed to the integration of Haldex, Tecma, and Assali Stefen. His deep understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and strong sales expertise position him to continue the region's successful trajectory. In his new role, Charpiot will systematically align EMEA operations with the goals of the drive2030 strategy, focusing on enhancing market leadership and seizing growth opportunities.
