SKYX Platforms Corp. (NASDAQ: SKYX) announced it will deploy its advanced smart technologies during the master renovation of The Grand Hotel du Parc, a historic hotel in La Bourboule, France, operated by Group OTT. This marks SKYX's first European hotel collaboration, with the renovation expected to include rooms, suites, bars, restaurants, lobby, ballroom, spa, gym, meeting rooms, and corridors. The hotel, formerly known as The Grand Medicis Hotel, currently has 100 rooms and suites and will add 30 more during the renovation.
SKYX will supply thousands of units of its plug-and-play technologies, including ceiling lighting, ceiling fans, recessed lights, down lights, EXIT signs, emergency lights, indoor and outdoor lights, and wall lights. The company claims its technologies can reduce up to 90% of the time and cost associated with hotel renovations or new builds. The deployment is part of a three-phase renovation and new build process.
Jean-François Ott, Founder of Group OTT, expressed excitement about integrating SKYX's technologies into the hotel, stating that it will "cut significant time and cost while advancing the lifestyle and safety standards." He also indicated plans to deploy SKYX's technologies in additional hotels of the group. Rani Kohen, Founder and Executive Chairman of SKYX Platforms, noted that the collaboration provides opportunities for future recurring revenues through interchangeability, upgrades, AI services, monitoring, and subscriptions.
The Grand Hotel du Parc is located in La Bourboule, a leading thermal spa destination focused on health, wellness, and longevity tourism. Group OTT, with over 35 years of experience, has developed more than 250 buildings across Europe valued at over $4 billion. SKYX, which owns over 100 U.S. and global patents and 60 lighting and home décor websites, continues discussions with additional hotel groups and owners regarding the utilization of its smart technologies.
