(NASDAQ: SKYX) announced a strategic partnership agreement with prominent European hotel and real estate developer Jean-François Ott, founder of Group OTT, to deploy its advanced and smart electrical technologies as a brand standard throughout the developer's hotels and buildings. The collaboration is expected to significantly reduce time and cost during renovations and new builds, with SKYX's technologies projected to cut up to 90% of associated expenses.
Over the past 35 years, France-based Group OTT has developed more than 250 buildings across Europe, including hotels, residential, and commercial projects valued at over $4 billion. Under the agreement, SKYX's technologies will be integrated across the group's existing and future assets.
SKYX's patented "smart ceiling" technology replaces fixed electrical wiring for ceiling lights, fans, and smart devices with an integrated receptacle system. This innovation simplifies installation, eliminates exposed wiring, reduces installation time and costs, and enables native integration of connected features such as smart lighting and IoT devices. The company describes this as a paradigm shift in building infrastructure, comparable to the historical emergence of standardized wall outlets.
