TEDxAtlanta, Georgia's largest TED affiliate, has opened ticket sales for its 2026 conference and the inaugural TEDxAtlanta Youth event, scheduled for Oct. 2–3, 2026, at Atlanta International School's Sandy Springs campus. The announcement marks a significant expansion of the organization's programming, introducing interactive Explore Sessions alongside the traditional TED-style talks.
Centered on the theme "Bold. Brave. Unbreakable," the 2026 edition will convene innovators, entrepreneurs, artists, community builders, and storytellers. The new Explore Sessions are designed to deepen attendee engagement through interactive workshops, guided conversations, and a Refresh Room for rejuvenation. "Together, the TED-style talks and Explore Sessions transform TEDxAtlanta from a conference attendees watch into an experience they actively participate in," the organization stated.
TEDxAtlanta Youth, one of the Southeast's newest platforms for youth voices, targets speakers aged 16 to 23. The youth event will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 3, immediately following the main conference. "Some of the most important ideas about the future are coming from the generation that will live that future longest," said Jacqui Chew, TEDxAtlanta licensee. "TEDxAtlanta Youth creates a platform for young people to contribute their ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape the conversations that will define the decades ahead."
The expansion reflects TEDxAtlanta's 16-year history of convening curious minds and bold thinkers. More than 260 talks have been shared since its inception in 2009, with over two dozen speakers later featured on TED.com. The conference is an initiative of nonprofit Ideas into Action.
Tickets for TEDxAtlanta, TEDxAtlanta Youth, and combined Complete Passes are available now at www.TEDxAtlanta.com.
