The Harvest Table, a South African wellness brand founded by Catherine Clark, is preparing to enter the U.S. market with a product line that reflects its philosophy of clean-label, whole-food nutrition. The company emphasizes that its approach to collagen and everyday nutrition is rooted in making nutrient-dense products with recognizable ingredients, rather than following trends.
Collagen has gained popularity among health-conscious consumers, but The Harvest Table positions its products as part of a broader commitment to daily wellbeing. The company's formulations target foundational systems such as gut health, joint mobility, skin integrity, and overall energy, using highly bioavailable nutrients without fillers, preservatives, artificial flavors, or dyes.
The planned U.S. lineup includes Bovine Collagen Granules, Multi Collagen Granules, Multi Collagen Radiance, and Vegan Protein Powder, all packaged in pouches designed for everyday use. These products are intended to support nutritional needs and are not meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
The brand was inspired by Clark's personal health journey after a Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis, which led her to explore nutrient-dense foods. What started as small batches for family and friends evolved into a full manufacturing operation. Today, The Harvest Table remains family-run, producing all items at its custom-built facility in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
The facility undergoes annual Food Safety Assessment (FSA) audits, meets GMP requirements, is recognized as a Food Safe Facility, and is Halaal-certified by the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC). Products entering the U.S. are gluten-free, biodegradable, and Halaal-certified at the product level by the National Independent Halaal Trust (NIHT). The company emphasizes sustainability through recyclable packaging and responsible manufacturing.
“Our goal has never been to chase trends,” said Sam Clark, CEO of The Harvest Table. “We focus on creating simple, nutrient-dense products designed for everyday use. As we prepare for our U.S. launch, we look forward to sharing our approach to wellness with a broader community of consumers.”
The U.S. market entry is significant as it introduces a vertically integrated, transparency-focused wellness brand to a growing segment of consumers seeking clean-label supplements. The Harvest Table’s emphasis on whole-food nutrition and rigorous quality standards may resonate with those looking for alternatives to highly processed collagen products.
Availability timing and additional details about the U.S. rollout will be announced soon. For more information, visit The Harvest Table website.
