Toblerone today announced a collaboration with Swarovski to create the Toblerone Crystal Bar, a limited-edition crystal replica of the iconic chocolate bar. The initiative, dubbed "The Ultimate Gift," includes a global auction running from July 1 to July 31, 2026, with 100% of proceeds going to charity partners at airports in Athens, Delhi, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Madrid, New York JFK, Singapore, and Zurich.
Each Toblerone Crystal Bar is individually numbered and certified, handcrafted in Austria using Swarovski's precision cutting technology. The bar weighs 851 grams, measures 305 millimeters, and features 546 individually cut facets. It requires 140 hours of development and 65 hours of handcrafted production. The design is modeled on the original Toblerone chocolate bar, which has been produced in Bern, Switzerland, since 1908.
Travelers at participating airports can bid in person at pop-up experiences, while online bidding is available globally via the auction site. Each airport's auction supports a local charity chosen by the airport itself. Details on the charities are available here.
For those who prefer an immediate purchase, Toblerone is also launching a limited-edition Ultimate Gift Box adorned with Swarovski crystals, available exclusively in World Travel Retail stores. The box contains a standard Milk Toblerone bar.
Iain Livingston, President of Toblerone & World Travel Retail, said: "Toblerone has always been more than a chocolate bar. It's a ritual, a symbol of travel, and one of the world's most recognised gifts. Creating the Toblerone Crystal Bar crafted by Swarovski feels like a natural expression of who we are: a brand that takes quality seriously but never takes itself too seriously. The Ultimate Gift will raise funds to support brilliant causes that help make the world a better place."
Toblerone, founded in 1908 by Theodor Tobler and Emil Baumann, produces up to 4 million Toblerone products daily at its Bern facility. Swarovski, founded in 1895 in Austria, operates in over 140 countries with 2,200 boutiques. The collaboration highlights shared values of quality and craftsmanship, with both brands rooted in Alpine heritage.
