Tradegate AG has released its half-year report for 2026, showcasing an exceptionally strong performance in the first six months. The company, which operates as a market specialist for shares and exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the Tradegate Berlin Stock Exchange (Tradegate BSX), reported a 15% increase in revenue, reaching approximately €281 billion compared to the same period last year. This growth was accompanied by a 31.7% surge in the number of individual transactions, totaling 47,497,913 trades.
The report highlights that the highest increases in turnover, around 50%, were recorded in January and June, while March and April saw declines of 5.5% and 13.2% respectively. Despite these fluctuations, periods of high market volatility contributed to better gross margins in securities trading compared to the previous year. As a result, profit from ordinary activities grew disproportionately, rising by 63.7% to €66.11 million, while net profit after tax increased by 64.2% to €46.087 million.
Looking ahead, the first six weeks of the second half of the year have shown moderate growth in turnover of around 12% compared to the previous year, indicating a continuation of positive momentum. The half-yearly report is available on the company’s website at www.tradegate.ag.
