Trilogy Metals Named to 2026 TSX30 After 570% Share Price Surge

Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has been named to the 2026 TSX30, an annual ranking of the top-performing companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange over a three-year period based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation. The company's share price increased 570% during the three years ended June 30, 2026. This recognition underscores growing investor confidence in Trilogy's strategic assets and its potential to become a significant domestic source of critical minerals.

President and CEO Tony Giardini said the recognition reflects investor confidence in Trilogy and the strategic importance of the Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain. The Arctic Project is part of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP) located in the Ambler Mining District, one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world. The district hosts polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits containing copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver, as well as carbonate replacement deposits with high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization.

Trilogy holds a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC, which has a 100 percent interest in the UKMP. On December 19, 2019, South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company, exercised its option to form a 50/50 joint venture with Trilogy Metals. Ambler Metals also has an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation, providing a framework for exploration and potential development in cooperation with local communities. The UKMP spans approximately 190,929 hectares, with exploration focused on the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit.

The TSX30 recognition is significant because it signals that investors are increasingly valuing companies that can supply critical minerals domestically. Copper and cobalt are essential for electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and advanced technologies. As the United States seeks to reduce reliance on foreign sources of these minerals, projects like the Arctic Project could play a key role in securing supply chains. Trilogy Metals' vision is to develop the Ambler Mining District into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods.

For investors, the TSX30 listing provides a measure of validation for Trilogy's long-term strategy and its ability to generate shareholder value. The 570% share price increase over three years demonstrates strong market momentum, likely driven by progress at the UKMP and broader interest in critical mineral exploration. The joint venture with South32 adds further credibility and financial backing, while the agreement with NANA Regional Corporation helps ensure local community engagement and regulatory support.
