Vingroup has been ranked 340th in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026, a significant leap from its 817th position in 2025. The nearly 500-place rise places the Vietnamese conglomerate among the world’s top 400 companies and marks it as the only Vietnamese representative on the prestigious list. The ranking, compiled by TIME and Statista, evaluates companies across revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency, with a focus on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) factors.

For Vietnam, Vingroup’s achievement signals the emergence of a globally competitive corporate player. The group’s overall score of 81 out of 100 reflects balanced performance across all three dimensions. In revenue growth, Vingroup received an “Outstanding” rating, driven by a 72% year-on-year increase in consolidated net revenue to VND 222.9 trillion in the first half of 2026. Consolidated profit after tax reached VND 20.904 trillion, 4.6 times higher than the same period last year and equivalent to 60% of the full-year target. These figures underscore the group’s ability to scale rapidly, particularly in industrial manufacturing and real estate.

Employee satisfaction also improved markedly, with Vingroup ranking 398th globally, up 496 places. The group attributes this to a dynamic work environment that fosters dedication, innovation, and individual development. Over three decades, Vingroup has expanded into new sectors and now operates in 12 countries, employing approximately 400,000 people worldwide. This global footprint not only enhances Vietnam’s economic standing but also creates opportunities for knowledge transfer and workforce development.

Sustainability transparency remains a key pillar of Vingroup’s strategy. The group is advancing green transition initiatives, infrastructure development, and sustainable urban ecosystems. VinFast, its electric vehicle brand, has become Vietnam’s top-selling automaker and aims to deliver 300,000 cars and 1 million electric motorcycles globally in 2026. Vinhomes has pioneered the ESG++ urban model, adding Regeneration and Resilience to the traditional ESG pillars, setting new standards for large-scale sustainable developments. In 2025, Vingroup expanded into infrastructure and green energy, with high-speed railway projects under construction through VinSpeed and renewable energy projects developed by VinEnergo. These ventures are expected to boost regional connectivity, expand economic space, and accelerate Vietnam’s green transition.

Previously, Vingroup was the first and only Vietnamese company to qualify for the World’s Best Companies 2025 ranking. Other brands within its ecosystem have also gained international recognition. VinFast was named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies 2024 and Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies of 2025, further cementing the group’s reputation. TIME, a leading global magazine with a 101-year history, is headquartered in New York and is known for its credible, independent analysis. Its rankings are widely respected, and inclusion can significantly enhance a company’s global profile.

Vingroup’s ascent in the rankings matters because it demonstrates that Vietnamese enterprises can compete on the world stage. The recognition may attract international investment, partnerships, and talent, while also pressuring other domestic firms to improve their ESG practices and employee relations. As Vingroup continues to expand into strategic sectors like infrastructure and green energy, its trajectory could reshape Vietnam’s economic landscape and inspire a new wave of globally minded companies.
