Western Star Resources Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Properties

Western Star Resources announced rock-chip assay results from its Rowland and White Star tungsten properties in Nevada, with grades up to 4.02% WO3, confirming high-grade mineralization and supporting drill target generation.

Western Star Resources Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Properties

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) has released certified laboratory assay results from its inaugural programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and adjoining White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada. The results include peak rock-chip assays of 4.02% WO3 at the Rowland Main workings and 3.00% WO3 at the White Star Batholith Mine, exceeding twice the reported historical grades.

Blake Morgan, CEO and President of Western Star, stated, 'Receiving results of this tenor, that exceed twice the reported historical grades mark an exciting development at the Rowland and White Star Properties, and demonstrate the high-grade nature of the system in the district.' The company is building an integrated dataset from geophysics and assays to move into drill target generation.

At the Rowland Tungsten Property, sampling across three zones of historical workings returned significant results. At Rowland Main, 18 rock-chip, float and channel samples yielded grades including 4.02%, 2.69%, 2.56%, 2.11% and 1.25% WO3, with associated molybdenum, silver, copper, and manganese credits. Northern Zone A returned 0.23% WO3, while Northern Zone B returned up to 1.22% WO3 with elevated silver and copper.

At the White Star Tungsten Project, initial rock-chip sampling returned 3.00% WO3 and 711 ppm Mo from sample WS-16-02, consistent with historical production grades from the Batholith/Mission Cross Mine. A second sample graded 0.13% WO3.

The company plans to integrate these results with completed UAV magnetic geophysical surveys and pending soil geochemistry to support drill target generation across the consolidated Jarbidge–Charleston tungsten footprint. Further soil sampling is ongoing, and additional updates will be provided as results are received.

The scientific and technical information has been reviewed and approved by Jasper Mowatt, a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Samples were analyzed by ALS Global in Reno, Nevada, using ICP-MS and fusion XRF methods.
