Western Star Resources Unveils Updated Investor Presentation Highlighting U.S. Tungsten Platform and 2026 Drilling Prospects

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has released an updated investor presentation that consolidates its growing U.S. tungsten platform, highlighting three past-producing projects and a clear strategy to advance them toward drilling and potential resource definition. The presentation, available on the company's website at www.westernstarresources.com, marks a significant milestone in the company's transformation from acquiring historical assets to actively generating modern exploration data.

The presentation details Western Star's U.S. tungsten portfolio, which includes the Eagle Point project in New Mexico and the Rowland and White Star projects in Nevada. These assets, each with historical production, are being systematically advanced using modern exploration techniques. At Eagle Point, the company is targeting a maiden drilling program in 2026, subject to permitting, financing, and other customary conditions. The goal is to generate sufficient geological and analytical data to determine whether the project can support a maiden NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate. Historical data from Eagle Point includes surface sampling results of up to 27.6% WO3, and the U.S. government had previously recommended a Defense Minerals Exploration Administration contract that would have funded 75% of an exploration program, but it was never executed.

In Nevada, the Rowland and White Star projects form a consolidated Jarbidge–Charleston tungsten footprint, covering more than six kilometres of prospective tungsten-bearing horizons. Recent exploration at Rowland returned selected rock samples grading up to 4.02% WO3, and soil geochemistry and UAV magnetics have identified principal target areas. At White Star, a selective rock sample returned 3.00% WO3 and 711 ppm Mo, and geophysical surveys have identified multiple target zones. The company has initiated drill-permitting activities with a USFS Plan of Operations for the district.

Western Star's strategy is disciplined: define targets, obtain approvals, drill the best opportunities, and where data supports it, advance toward compliant mineral resources. The company is also assessing U.S. federal programs that may support domestic critical-mineral exploration, including potential grants or cost-sharing opportunities. It has submitted an application in response to a U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium solicitation for strategic critical minerals.

CEO Blake Morgan emphasized the significance of the presentation, stating, "We have assembled three past-producing tungsten projects in the United States and we are no longer simply talking about historical potential. Our objective is to generate the modern drilling and geological data necessary to determine whether Eagle Point can support a maiden NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate, while at the same time testing the broader exploration potential of the system."

The presentation also highlights the company's 100%-owned Western Star Property in British Columbia, which is permitted for drilling and hosts multiple MINFILE occurrences, providing additional optionality. However, the company's principal focus remains the U.S. tungsten portfolio.

The scientific and technical information in the presentation has been reviewed by Jasper Mowatt, a Qualified Person, who visited the properties in June 2026. The company notes that historical estimates are not NI 43-101 compliant and should not be relied upon as current resources.

As the United States places increasing strategic emphasis on secure supplies of critical minerals, Western Star's portfolio is highly relevant. The updated presentation provides investors with a comprehensive view of the company's progress and future direction, reinforcing its commitment to advancing domestic tungsten exploration.
